Interfaith Forum

Together with Asia Interfaith Netowrk (AINA), the 9th ICAAP is hosting a pre congress interfaith forum for religious leaders from 7- 8 August 2009 at Dhyanapura Hotel in Seminyak, Bali. The Interfaith Forum is one of the seven pre-congress community forums hosted during the congress. With theme on “Interfaith contribution on HIV Programs”,  the Interfaith Forum will discuss three key issues:
1. Stigma and discrimination to marginalize people including PLHIV
2. Religious leader social care and support to PLHIV
3. Migration and Tourism

The forum expects to mobilize 200 delegates from Asia Pacific region and beyond. Registration is required for participation in the Interfaith Forum at USD $45/delegate which includes meeting package and accommodation. Please confirm your participation here!

Travel & Accommodation
If you plan to attend the Interfaith Forum, you may need to adjust your travel plans accordingly to arrive in Bali before 6 August 2009. Airport transfer service is provided at the airport to all official hotels and to selected drop-zones in Bali. Please check the web section on Transportation to see if your preferred area is covered by the congress shuttle service. 

Except those who receive scholarship awards from the 9th ICAAP, you are free to arrange your own accommodation while in Bali. Seminyak – Kuta is a half hour away from the congress venue, Bali International Convention Centre in Nusa Dua. There are many budget-accommodations around the Seminyak – Kuta area in the proximity of Dhyanapura Hotel, the location of the Interfaith Forum.
